1997 Catana 381 catamaran with a new registration certificate for dual use: private leisure and professional charter. For professional use (NUC): certified for 20 passengers + 2 crew members under “4th category” regulations (within 5 miles of shelter). For standard leisure use: CE Category A rated, max 8 people. Only 2 owners in 29 years! Major refit in 2024, including carbon mast, sails, Antal deck hardware, electric propulsion, Lofrans electric windlass and chain, NKE electronics and autopilot, etc. Structural reinforcements and composite work including inverted bows, extended transoms, composite forward crossbeam, carbon canoe boom, carbon daggerboards, davits, coachroof plexiglass, tiller steering, helm seats, etc. New thru-hulls, epoxy treatment (anti-osmosis), Coppercoat epoxy antifouling, and a set of Flexofold 2-blade folding propellers. Over €120k in work and hundreds of hours of professional craftsmanship invested in this exceptional and rare vessel. The interior layout (sleeping 8) has also been modified to include a watch berth in the saloon and a workshop/office in the port-side forward hull section; the fit-out is currently minimalist, leaving room for you to finish it according to your sailing plans and preferences. 5-ton displacement; designed to be beached or rested on a slipway thanks to its solid laminate (monolithic) hull bottoms and oversized rudder stocks—an ideal, cost-effective solution for hull cleaning, anode replacement, or routine inspections and maintenance. Built with an inner skin of Twaron (Kevlar) for protection against impacts and punctures. Hull #12 of only 20 units produced (Nos. 1–10 were Asian-built; Nos. 11–20 were French-built in Canet-en-Roussillon).
