Dans l&#8217;esprit de Dick Newick, ces deux bateaux sont des trimarans de croisi\u00e8re rapide destin\u00e9s \u00e0 \u00eatre fabriqu\u00e9s en petite s\u00e9rie ou par des constructeurs individuels tr\u00e8s \u00e9clair\u00e9s. Des chantiers prestigieux comme Le Jelloux en France, Mac Laughlin aux USA ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 quelques exemplaires de ces multicoques rares et presque inconstruisibles aujourd&#8217;hui en raison de la complexit\u00e9 des formes, du nombre d&#8217;heures r\u00e9dhibitoire n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 leur fabrication et du cout et de la raret\u00e9 des mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res (Yellow and Red cedar) de premier choix indispensable \u00e0 leur \u00e0 leur construction. Il ne serait pas raisonnable aujourd&#8217;hui d&#8217;envisager la reconstruction \u00e0 neuf d&#8217;un CREATIVE sans investir entre 600 et 700 000 euros! Cet exemplaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit par un petit chantier artisanal tr\u00e8s \u00e9clair\u00e9 au Qu\u00e9bec et l&#8217;architecte lui m\u00eame en disait grand bien. Le bateau est magnifique et au poids du plan malgr\u00e9 une pr\u00e9sentation int\u00e9rieure flatteuse. Construit en 1995, cet exemplaire est probablement le plus r\u00e9cent sur le march\u00e9 ou ces multicoques d&#8217;exception sont rares. Les couchettes double log\u00e9es dans les ailes sont tr\u00e8s larges et confortables, la cabine avant est accueillante et la cabine arri\u00e8re s\u00e9par\u00e9e du reste des am\u00e9nagement constitue un petit lodge privatif plein de charme. La gr\u00e2ce sur l&#8217;eau, les qualit\u00e9s de glisse de ces bateaux sont exceptionnelles, naviguer \u00e0 bord de ces Stadivarius nautiques est une exp\u00e9rience incomparable d&#8217;\u00e9quilibre et de connivence avec la mer. L\u00e9ger et raides, ces trimarans parfaitement con\u00e7us ne sont pas fragiles, ils traversent le temps avec une aisance \u00e9tonnante pourvu qu&#8217;il re\u00e7oivent une peinture de qualit\u00e9 tous les 10 ans et qu&#8217;on ne laisse pas d&#8217;eau \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur.
